These terms are an agreement between you and TheBigBot LLC (“we”, “us”) for the GoTinyURL website at gotinyurl.com and the GoTinyURL service at app.gotinyurl.com. By creating an account or buying a plan you accept them.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
- Give accurate details and keep your password and API key secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person or organisation per account. Do not share or resell accounts.
The service
GoTinyURL lets you create short links, bio pages, QR codes and related items, and see statistics about clicks. Features and limits depend on your plan and are listed on the pricing and lifetime deal pages. We may improve, change or remove features; we will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a period you have paid for without offering a fair alternative or a pro-rata refund.
Plans, payment and renewal
- Free plan: no charge, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Subscriptions (monthly or annual) are charged in advance through Stripe and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for.
- Lifetime tiers are a one-time payment for the tier’s plan for as long as the service operates. If we ever close the service, we will give lifetime customers at least 90 days’ notice and a way to export their data.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which Stripe shows before you pay.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
- If a payment fails, we may limit your account to the free plan until it is resolved.
Acceptable use
You must follow the acceptable use policy. In short: no phishing, malware, scams, spam, illegal content, deceptive cloaking, or links that infringe others’ rights. We may disable links, remove content and suspend or close accounts that break it, with or without notice where the risk to others requires it.
Your content
You own the links, pages and files you create. You give us the permission we need to host, display and redirect them to provide the service. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload and for the destinations you link to.
Our intellectual property
The GoTinyURL name, logo, mascot Tini, website and software belong to TheBigBot LLC or its licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the service.
Third-party services
Destinations, embedded content and integrations belong to third parties. We are not responsible for them.
Availability
We work to keep GoTinyURL available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be kept short.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your links or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using GoTinyURL and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) survive termination.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which TheBigBot LLC is organised, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before going to court, contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Consumers keep any rights their local law gives them.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
