Country and continent
Local stores, local languages, local offers.
Smart targeting and rotation
Smart targeting lets one GoTinyURL short link send visitors to different destinations based on who they are: their continent, country, city, device type, operating system, browser or language. Rotation splits traffic across several URLs for simple A/B tests. It is included on Pro, Business and Lifetime Tier 2 and above.
Capabilities
Local stores, local languages, local offers.
Send event-goers in one city to their local ticket page.
iPhone users to the App Store, Android users to Google Play.
Spanish speakers land on the Spanish page automatically.
Split traffic across URLs to test landing pages.
Route by browser when a page only works well in some of them.
A geo-targeted link is one short URL that redirects visitors to different pages depending on where they are, usually detected from their IP address. A store can send US shoppers to the dollar shop and UK shoppers to the pound shop while sharing one link in a global campaign.
How it works
Create the link, then Choose a rule type, then Add destinations, then Measure. Each step takes a few seconds in the dashboard at app.gotinyurl.com.
Start with a normal short link and a fallback destination.
Country, continent, city, device, OS, browser, language or rotation.
One destination per rule value, for example US, CA and UK.
Statistics show which destination each click went to.

Pro and Business subscriptions, and Lifetime Tiers 2 to 5. Free, Starter and Lifetime Tier 1 use single-destination links.
8 rule types: continent, country, city, device type, browser language, link rotation, operating system and browser. A link uses one rule type at a time.
Country detection from IP addresses is accurate for the large majority of visitors. VPN users appear in the VPN's country, so always set a sensible fallback destination.
Rotation sends each click to one of several destinations so traffic is spread between them. It is a quick way to test two landing pages with one link; compare results in your analytics tool.
Yes. Use the operating system rule: iOS clicks go to the App Store listing and Android clicks to Google Play, with a web page as the fallback for everyone else.
They go to the link's main destination, so nobody hits a dead end.
No noticeable amount. The rule is checked on the server during the same redirect, so the visitor does not see an extra page.
Yes. Each destination can carry its own UTM tags, and retargeting pixels fire on the redirect as usual.
