Refund and cancellation policy

The short version

  • Subscriptions: the first payment is refundable within 14 days.
  • Lifetime tiers: full refund within 30 days, for any reason.
  • Cancel a subscription any time; it stops renewing and you keep access until the period ends.
  • Refunded or cancelled accounts move back to the free plan.

We want you to be happy paying for GoTinyURL. If it is not right for you, this is how refunds and cancellations work.

Subscriptions (monthly and annual)

  • First payment: if you ask within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, we refund it in full.
  • Renewals: renewal payments are not normally refunded, but if you forgot to cancel and have not used the paid features since the renewal, ask within 7 days and we will usually refund it.
  • Cancelling: cancel any time from the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt, or ask us. Your subscription stops renewing and you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Then your account moves to the free plan; your links stay saved.

Lifetime tiers

  • Full refund for any reason within 30 days of purchase.
  • After that, lifetime purchases are final, except where the law gives you more rights.
  • When a lifetime purchase is refunded, the account returns to the free plan.
  • Moving up a tier within the refund window: we refund the lower tier when you buy the higher one.

How to ask for a refund

Contact us through the contact page with the topic Billing, the email you paid with and your order reference (shown on the thank-you page and in the Stripe receipt). We reply within one business day. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please talk to us before opening a dispute with your bank; we can usually resolve things faster. Accounts with open chargebacks may be limited while the dispute is reviewed.

This policy does not reduce any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live, including any cooling-off period.
