We want everyone to be able to use GoTinyURL. This statement covers the marketing website at gotinyurl.com.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Colour contrast for text, buttons, focus rings and borders is checked automatically for every theme (light and dark) and every colour palette before each release.
- Keyboard access: every menu, drawer, search panel, dialog and carousel works with a keyboard, with visible focus and a skip-to-content link.
- Visible close buttons on every overlay, at least 44 by 44 pixels, so phone users are never trapped; Escape also closes overlays on keyboards.
- Reduced motion: animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion, or when you choose it in Display settings.
- Display settings (the sun-and-moon button): light or dark theme, colour palette, larger text, higher contrast and highlighted links.
- Semantic structure: one main heading per page, ordered headings, labelled forms and landmarks.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Zoom and reflow: pages work at 200% zoom and down to 320 pixels wide.
Known limitations
- Some third-party content, such as the Stripe checkout page and the Cloudflare Turnstile check, is outside our control. Both providers publish their own accessibility commitments.
- The decorative 3D cube and particle animations are visual extras; the same information is always available as text.
- The GoTinyURL app at app.gotinyurl.com is a separate product; we are reviewing it against the same standard.

How we test
Automated checks (contrast matrix, link check, Lighthouse accessibility audit) run before releases, plus manual keyboard and screen-reader checks of menus, search, forms and dialogs.
